The Team Behind Sol Centre
Sol Centre began as a simple idea from our founder, Adriana: a place where people feel held – where practice, rest, and real connection can happen. From the start, the dream has been community-first: a home to make friends and support our mental, spiritual, and physical wellbeing.
At Sol Centre, we believe yoga is both practical and profound – the thing you do to steady and nourish your life, separate from work and the responsibilities of home. Some days that’s a strong class and a good sweat; other days it’s quiet, warmth, or simply a friendly face. We hold space for the full spectrum – body, mind, and spirit.
Our approach is guided by yoga’s core values, brought into everyday life:
- Non-violence (ahimsa): kindness in action – toward ourselves, others, and our world.
- Truth and respect: clear communication, consent-based assists, and inclusive language.
- Self-inquiry: practice as a place to listen, learn, and grow at your own pace.
We’re here to be a genuine community hub for North London – a place to make friends, feel supported, look after your mental and spiritual health, and rediscover a sense of freedom, even if just for a few minutes. Come as you are; we’ll meet you there.
Our Offerings
At Sol Centre, there are plenty of ways to move, practise and slow down. We offer both heated and non-heated classes, from energising yoga flows to gentler practices, Pilates and Barre. Whether you’re new to yoga or have practised for years, you’re welcome to find a class that feels right for you.
Vinyasa Yoga (Flow)
A dynamic, fluid style that links postures through smooth transitions. Our Flow classes build strength, mobility and stamina, with creative sequences that vary in pace and intensity.
Ashtanga Yoga
A strong, structured practice that follows a set sequence of postures. Its familiar rhythm offers a chance to build strength, focus and confidence over time.
Hatha Yoga
A slower-paced practice that gives you time to explore postures, breath and awareness. Hatha classes offer space for reflection and a gentle introduction to yoga’s wider traditions.
Yin Yoga
A quiet, meditative practice in which postures are held for longer. Yin offers time to slow down, ease tension and settle into stillness.
Bring Your Baby Yoga
A welcoming class for parents to practise with their babies alongside them. An opportunity to move, reconnect with your body and spend time together.
Kids Yoga
Fun, engaging classes that introduce children to yoga through movement, play and moments of mindfulness.
You’ll also find Pilates, Barre and classes such as Sculpt & Flow, Stretch & Mobility and Yoga for Sport on our timetable - giving you more ways to build strength, support recovery or simply enjoy moving.
Sauna
Alongside our movement classes, our sauna offers a warm, welcoming space to relax, recover and reset. Come after a class, make it part of your training routine, or visit simply for some time to switch off.
Our 60-minute sessions give you time to settle in and enjoy the experience at your own pace. Take a few rounds in the sauna, cool off under the cold bucket shower, or just sit back and enjoy the warmth.
You don’t need to book a class or have any previous sauna experience. Bring some water, come as you are and make the session your own.
Community and Beyond
Sol Centre is dedicated to being a cornerstone for the North London community, not only as a place to practice yoga but also as a venue for workshops, courses, teacher trainings, and events related to yoga and wellness. Our goal is to enrich the lives of our community members by providing opportunities to deepen their practice, expand their knowledge, and connect with like-minded individuals.
