Agreement
When you create a Momence account to book or buy with Sol Centre, or when you visit the studio, you’re confirming that you’ve read and agree to our Terms & Conditions and Participant Waiver. Your acceptance in Momence counts as your legal agreement.
1. Bookings & Check-in
- All classes must be pre-booked and prepaid in Momence.
- Please arrive 5–10 minutes early. Late entry may be refused once class has started (no refund/credit).
- We may substitute teachers, amend class names/styles, or adjust the timetable at short notice.
2. Age & Health
- Standard classes and the sauna are 18+ (under-18s only in specifically advertised sessions with guardian consent).
- You are responsible for ensuring you are fit to participate. Inform the teacher of injuries, pregnancy, or health changes before class. See Waiver for details.
3. Class Packs, Credits & Drop-ins
- Credits/packs are non-refundable, non-transferable, and tied to the purchaser’s account.
- Expiry dates are shown at purchase; expired credits cannot be extended unless we agree in writing.
- No-shows and late cancellations (see §5) forfeit the credit.
4. Memberships (12-month minimum term – excluding Founders Membership)
- Memberships (excluding the Founders Membership) are fixed-term agreements of 12 months (“Minimum Term”), billed monthly via card or Direct Debit. The Minimum Term starts on the Activation Date (first billing date or first use, whichever comes first).
- The Founders Membership is subject to separate terms: it may be cancelled at any time with one month’s notice, effective from the next billing date.
- Cancellation of standard memberships during the Minimum Term is not permitted except:
(a) within the 14-day cooling-off period where no sessions have been used;
(b) for medical reasons preventing participation for 3+ months (doctor’s note required);
(c) permanent relocation outside Greater London (proof required);
(d) after the first 3 months of the Minimum Term, with one full billing cycle’s written notice and payment of an early termination fee equal to one month’s membership fees; or
(e) in other exceptional circumstances at Sol Centre’s reasonable discretion.
In these cases, cancellation takes effect from the next billing date.

Freezes/holds: up to 8 weeks total per 12-month period, requested 14+ days before the next billing date. Freezes cannot be backdated. The Minimum Term is extended by the length of any freeze.

Renewal: At the end of the Minimum Term, memberships automatically renew for successive 12-month terms on the same terms and conditions (including price unless we notify a change) unless you give at least 30 days’ written notice before the renewal date info@sol-centre.co.uk. We will send a reminder email 30 days before renewal.

Price changes at renewal: If we change the price, we will give 30 days’ notice. You may choose not to renew, and the membership will end at the end of the current 12-month term.
5. Cancellations & No-shows
- Studio classes: cancel ≥ 6 hours before start for credit return; <6 hours or no-show = credit/membership session lost.
- Workshops/courses/events: cancel ≥ 7 days for a refund to original payment method; 7–2 days = account credit; <48 hours = no refund.
- Private sessions: cancel ≥ 24 hours for full refund/credit; <24 hours = charged in full.
(If we cancel, you receive a full refund or credit.)
6. Payments & Failed Charges
- Payments are processed via Momence/its payment partners. You authorise recurring charges for memberships.
- If a payment fails, Momence may re-attempt; we may suspend access until paid. You are responsible for bank/chargeback fees resulting from disputed payments you initiate.
7. Cooling-off (distance purchases)
- UK consumers purchasing online may have a 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
- By booking to start within 14 days, you request immediate supply and acknowledge you lose the right to cancel once any part of the service is used (e.g., attending a class or using credits). Unused purchases may be cancelled within 14 days by emailing us.
8. Sauna Use
- Follow posted guidance and teacher/staff instructions. Hydrate; limit session length; do not use when unwell or under the influence of alcohol/drugs. We may refuse sauna access for safety reasons. Towels must be used.
9. Conduct & Property
- Be respectful of staff and other guests. We may refuse entry or terminate a membership for unsafe or disruptive behaviour.
- You are responsible for your belongings; Sol Centre is not liable for loss or damage to personal property.
10. Photography & Marketing
- We avoid identifiable images without consent. Tell staff if you do not wish to be photographed/filmed.
11. Refunds
- Except where stated in §5 or required by law, purchases are non-refundable. Any discretionary refunds/credits are at management’s sole discretion.
12. Data Protection (UK GDPR)
- We process your personal data to manage bookings, deliver services, and ensure safety. See our Waiver for details or email us to exercise your data rights.
13. Safety & Liability
- You agree to follow all safety instructions and our Waiver. Nothing in these T&Cs limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited under law. Otherwise, participation is at your own risk.
14. Force Majeure
- We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., extreme weather, transport strikes, public health restrictions).
15. Changes to these T&Cs
- We may update these T&Cs from time to time. The current version will be posted in Momence and applies from the stated effective date.
16. Complaints
- Please speak to the teacher on duty or email info@sol-centre.co.uk. We aim to respond within 5 working days.
17. Governing Law
- These T&Cs are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Courts of England & Wales have jurisdiction.
